Just $120 to sponsor a family for Thanksgiving

Picture it: While you are enjoying your Thanksgiving meal this year, imagine knowing that a local family was also able to have Thanksgiving too this year because of your generosity.

With the support of local families, partners, and sponsors who believe in our mission, each year we provide 100 food insecure families in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County with all the ingredients for a full Thanksgiving meal.

A whole turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and celery, green beans, carrots, rolls, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and even more to each family served.

We also aim to meet additional needs of diapers and wipes for children in these families if funding and donations enable us to do so.We’re grateful for the community members and partners who make this possible.

We’re thrilled to share that the 2025 S.W.A.T. project was a tremendous success! With the help of our amazing community, 152 families are celebrating Thanksgiving around their tables.
